Our Dogs

A brief note: We ONLY raise purebred AKC registered Cairn terrier dogs. We do not raise any other purebred dogs, nor do we raise mixed breeds, designer dogs, or mongrels of any combination. Raising Cairn terrier mixed breeds would be a disservice to the long and proud pedigrees these dogs have.
Please do not ask us to offer stud service for a crossbred or inquire for crossbred puppies. We will not do it. Thank you.

RDRR Cuilean Quin O'Cuinn: Quin is a lovely big black brindle boy,
He is our handsome senior stud from Cairn Terrier Creek in Florida, born December 2017. His parents are Kalif and Honey Girl.
Quin is gentle and very affectionate. He likes best to be held like a baby and have belly rubs. He gets excited about treats and will bounce down the hall, feet together like a rabbit, tossing his head side to side.
He also loves flashing lights, dancing shadows, and sparkles which he chases like a cat might. Quin is intrigued by the television and loves watching action shows. And yes, he barks back at any dog that barks on the T.V..

RDRR Dudley Do-Right Dude:
Dudley is our older wheaten boy, born in 2020.
We acquired him from a family south of us, here in Idaho.
His parents are Ferguson (of DonJac's Cairn Terriers)
and Geneieve (of Marma's Cairn Terriers).
Dudley is a very correct in his confirmation, nearly exactly breed standard with height, length, and weight. He is very well put together.
Dudley is a very lively little mister, full of energy and exuberance. He is far too busy to settle down and snuggle with anyone except for our daughter. Dudley enjoys romping with our Great Pyrenees, Sam Sheepdog. He likes going for long walks or even better, hiking.

Bruns William Wallace At RDRR:
Our new sweet boy, Liam, comes to us from Bruns Cairn Terriers, from northwestern Washington state. Liam's father is Cohen Bruns Texas Traveling Man and Liam's mother is Bruns Little Katie Done It.
Liam is a sturdy boy with good solid bones. He has excellent confirmation.
Even better, Liam has the most delightfully calm and affectionate temperament since Tyson. Liam can be trusted to hang out with his person while out doing farm chores, without worry that he will get distracted and wander off. He is gentle with cats, has zero interest in the poultry, and absolutely loves going for long walks. Liam likes to spend his evenings sprawled with his person on their bed, cuddling & snuggling.
He is extremely friendly and doesn't know a stranger; everyone is his friend.

RDRR Lexi Laoghaire
Lexi is daughter of our late Tyson and Cherry of Marma's Cairn Terriers.
She was born April 22, 2019.
Another lovely pale wheaten, Lexi looks startlingly like her older sister, Eilidh, but minus the black ear and muzzle markings.
Lexi is a true "earth dog" and loves to dig tunnels. Lots of tunnels.
She is the reason our fences are buried, and our backyard looks like the army was practicing rapid foxhole digging.

RDRR Sonsie Sheila Siobhán,
our Bonny's final daughter and daughter of Tyson as well.
Sheila developed that lovely red-wheaten coat like her daddy and appears to have her mother's nice overall confirmation. Sheila is a very cheerful and outgoing little lady. She loves to climb and has been caught on the kitchen table as well as the top of the backyard barbeque.
This girl is certainly mischievous!
Sheila was born October 10, 2019.

RDRR Trixie Pixie
daughter of our Vixen and Quin,
was born August of 2020.
Trixie has been a wonderful mother.
Her puppies are usually light brindle in color,
and look VERY much like she does.
Trixie delights in hunting pocket gophers
and digs amazingly long & deep tunnels in her hunting endeavors.

RDRR Dragon Dragista
daughter of our Lexi by High Meadow's Lord Griffin.
Griffin has since returned to his breeder, Jason Kienlen, in Florida.
Dragon is a silver-wheaten, like Griffin, which is not a breed standard color.
However, when paired with Quin, she produces gorgeous dark brindle puppies that are nearly spot-on breed standard size and confirmation.
Her puppies have delightful personalities and are very affectionate little dogs, very similar to Dragon's own temperament.
She and her littermate sister, Fifi, were born in October of 2020.

RDRR Fifi Fionnghal
daughter of our Lexi by High Meadow's Lord Griffin.
Griffin has since returned to his breeder, Jason Kienlen, in Florida.
Fifi is a beautiful wheaten lady who is nearly identical to her mother Lexi.
Fifi and Dudley Do-Right produce extremely uniform wheaten puppies that are extremely close to exact breed standard size and confirmation.
Fifi is somewhat reserved with her affections, like her mother,
but devoted to her chosen person in our home.
She snuggles & cuddles with him faithfully. She sleeps in our bed EVERY night except for when she has new puppies.
She and her littermate sister, Dragon, were born in October of 2020.

RDRR Red Skye At Night
daughter of our Sheila by Teddy Bear McGreen, born March 2021.
Teddy belongs to Marma's Cairn Terriers and was bred at Cairn Terrier Creek. Congratulations to Teddy Bear's owner, Norma Rice, and breeder, Jason Kienlen, on Teddy's AKC Championship, as well as his International Championship in 2021.
Skye is a big sturdy girl like her mother Sheila and grandmother Bonny.
She has a delightful personality like all her predecessors, seemingly happy at ALL times. She, like her mother, loves to climb and survey from on high what sort of mischief she can possibly get into.

RDRR Jinty Janis Glancy
daughter of our Dragon and Quin, born April of 2022.
Jinty is exactly breed standard in size and confirmation.
She is a petite yet sturdy little lady who LOVES hiking!
She nearly wore her own feet out dragging my husband over a ridgeline and down into a lake basin in a hike that I wouldn't consider doing myself.
And she would do that hike again if anyone had the energy to take her.
Jinty is a very generous little mama who adopted a pair of orphan kittens into her first litter. She still adores her kitten daughters and wants to fuss on them any chance she gets.
